About D K Poynter & Co Accountants
The principal of D K Poynter & Co is David Kenneth Poynter. He is a Fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants after qualifying in 1987. David joined an accountancy firm on leaving school and has remained in public practice all his working life.
After qualifying David worked for a number of accountant firms before setting up his own practice in February 1990. David sold his practice in 1999 and freelanced until September 2002 when he joined a practice in Eastbourne. David spent six years with this firm before deciding to return to own and operate his own business in November 2008.
David is divorced and has two sons Andrew aged 22 and Stuart aged 18. Both sons play representive cricket for Ireland and Middlesex CCC.
In his spare time when not spending time with his partner Arlene, he enjoys watching his sons play cricket, playing golf and skiing.
